I really admire this brand. From its quaintly packaged and designed homewares and grooming products to it’s fantastically produced and advertised fashion range and it’s additional cultural offerings, Aubin (o-BAN / OR-bin?) & Wills are right on the money. It is a breath of fresh air to discover that a brand like this appears to be UK-based. Here are some of my favourite picks…

James (my oldest friend) and I had a rather unexpectedly nice shopping experience in Brick Lane this afternoon, where we managed to barter down a number of vintage items and walk away with a smile and some nice shoes. Before that, we cashed in on our Nando’s voucher and had a nice catchup. I’m really happy about how well things are going for him - he deserves it.
I got some sweet vintage Pierre Hardy high tops for £35 and also some awesome Loake brogues, which the guy wanted to keep for himself but, alas, they didn’t fit him. They’ve gone to a better home (mine).
Will post photos of my new items here soon.
Good/Bad Decisions
I just bought me a pair of these in black as a sort-of late Christmas present to myself.
Im also thinking about setting up a formspring account because I would quite like to talk to some of you lovely people who look at my blog and whose blogs I look at.
The formspring bandwagon is getting away from me. I need to jump on before it’s gone (and the next one creeps up behind me).
What do you think: Yay or Nay?

I need the name of the designer, the price and a retail location STAT. And you know I’m serious because I’m using words like “STAT”.
